Fall/Winter 2013 NYFW: Day 4

Lashed Out is back for day 4 of Fall/Winter 2013 NYFW. Today I noticed again more colorful patterns and prints making there way down the runway, detailed embroidery, clothing with volume and dark color pallets.

Day 4: Here are my favorites from today:

Parbal Gurung

Gurung’s show from today had a strong military presence, which you can see down below.

Place your eyes on the sleeves…it’s so much volume but I like it!

Jill Stuart

The detailing on each of the dresses are incredible. I can definitely see at least one of these looks on a red carpet.

Alexander Wang

What can I say…I just love the way Wang designs his clothes. He can make sports wear look fabulous and amazing on women. I think he designs for women who are slightly a tomboy at heart and love to make a fashion statement. For instance, the “boxing glove” mittens are a WOW!

Chloe Sevigny for O.C.

The photographs of Chloe for O.C. look too adorable. This collection is young, playful, and cute.

Jonathan Simkhai

Get into the eye glasses! The last look is really geek chic.

Aside from the usually dark colors for Fall/Winter, this Canadian designer, Calla went the opposite route and used bright graphic colors in her Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
